Campus Promotions Inc. (CPI) was founded in August of 1982 by Ted Land and Peter Luchak who were room mates and students at Western University. Ted was the orientation commissioner at King’s College and Peter had just finished a term as University Students Council (USC) President. Ted believed that we were uniquely qualified to start a business that catered to the quietly immerging market of branding and licensing on university Campus’. Was he right!
After taking an even better opportunity to work in a marketing capacity at Canada’s largest and most respected brewery (Labatt), Teddy never forgot his roots and encouraged campus to branch into the opportunity of global beer.
These two distinct markets continue to be our core business.
Who would have thought that forty years later, our collaboration would continue to flourish.
